When Sofiia and Pavlo decided to start Bandeira, Ukraine was at war. There was no ideal moment, no perfect conditions, and honestly – no time to overthink it. Everything around them was uncertain, which made the fear of starting something new feel a little less significant by comparison. So they went for it.
That’s not a founding story we lead with to impress anyone. It’s just the truth about where this company came from – and it explains a lot about how we work.
Who We Are
Bandeira is a small, close-knit team of six ecommerce specialists spread across Ukraine, Portugal, and Romania.
We work with Shopify, BigCommerce, and custom-built projects. Our work covers pretty much everything a growing online store needs – from design and development to CRO, on-site SEO and GEO optimization, Google Ads, email marketing through Klaviyo and Attentive, custom automations, POS and marketplace integrations, platform migrations, and speed optimization.
But the honest version of what we do is this: we help ecommerce businesses stop wrestling with their own tools and start actually running their stores.
What We Actually Care About
Most agencies talk about conversions and revenue – and yes, we care about those too. But what really gets us going is the question that comes before all of that: how does your business actually work?
We want to understand your operations, your internal processes, your pain points, and the workarounds your team has quietly been living with for years.
Because nine times out of ten, the real opportunity isn’t on the front end of the store – it’s in the backend. It’s in the order management flow nobody has touched since 2019, the manual spreadsheet that three people depend on, the support tickets that could resolve themselves with the right automation in place.
We’ve built custom OMS systems, accounting tools, warehouse management flows, marketplace connectors, and reporting dashboards that native platforms simply can’t offer. Not because we love complexity, but because we’ve seen what the right infrastructure does for a team – and it’s hard to unsee.
The Team Behind It
Bandeira started with two people who had worked together before and wanted to build something of their own. Today it’s a team of six, each person genuinely invested in the work and in each other.
We’re experts who know they don’t know everything. That might sound like false modesty, but we mean it seriously – it’s what keeps us from getting lazy. The ecommerce landscape changes constantly, and the agencies that rely on the same playbook year after year are the ones that start delivering average results.
